Fascinating polychrome and gilded wooden sculpture depicting "Saint Martin and the poor man". The sculpture is meticulously executed. The Saint in the foreground is dressed in an important cloak; in his left hand, he brandishes his sword. The poor man in the background is almost clinging to the saint. The sculpture rests on an ancient and coeval base. The artifact is in perfect condition and has not undergone any restoration. It dates back to the late 16th century and is of Venetian origin. It measures 65 cm in height; the base measures 30 x 17 cm.
