Fascinating polychrome and gilded wood sculpture depicting "Saint Martin and the Poor Man". The sculpture is meticulously executed with the Saint in the foreground dressed in an important cloak, holding a sword in his left hand. The poor man in the background is almost clinging to the saint. The sculpture rests on an ancient and coeval base. The artifact is in perfect condition and has not undergone any restoration. It dates back to the late 16th century and is of Venetian origin. It measures 65 cm in height, and the base measures 30 x 17 cm.
