Description of the chairs
Material: warm, compact walnut wood with a beautiful period patina.
Seat: wide, slightly rounded, upholstered in brown velvet fabric.
Backrest: clean and rigorous lines, with:
an upper crossbar shaped with a slight widening towards the edges;
a central medallion carved in a fan shape, a decorative element characteristic of the Directoire style, reminiscent of the neoclassical taste;
Legs: straight and tapered, truncated pyramid-shaped, typical of the period, giving the structure a sense of lightness and elegance.
