Maurice Alfred Decamps (1892-1953) was born in Paris and painted landscapes, but especially flowers.
His master was Pierre Montézin, and from 1913 he began exhibiting his works at the "Salon des artistes Français" in Paris.
He received many awards and mentions during his life. In 1926 he received the "Prix de la Savoie", then in 1927 the prize
"Société des Paysagistes", in 1929 the prize "Raigecourt-Goyon", and finally in 1938 the prize "Justin Claverie".
The antique frame and the oil painting have been accurately and professionally restored. Thirties of the twentieth century.
