Beschreibung:
Description
Hexagonal ciborium supported by an architectural structure in ebonized wood, set on a molded base with turned supports and a shaped lower surface. The upper body, centrally developed and crowned by a removable tiered pyramidal roof with a gilded bronze lion finial, is entirely embellished with a rich decorative inlay of ivory, organized within geometric reserves and fields marked by refined phytomorphic motifs, volutes, and scrolls in a neo-Renaissance style. The side panels alternate large mirrors adorned with plastic elements in gilded bronze depicting female figures, while the lower register features further applications in chased bronze with a motif of mascarons.
