Vase C99 – Antonia Campi
Vase in earthenware, slip-cast with a biomorphic shape, a branched foot, and an elongated, upright and stiff form, which earned it the nickname "Penguin".
Designed in the early 1950s, drawing inspiration from European surrealism, the model was included in the famous catalogue of "Fantasy Articles" and produced in decorative variants. In this case, the white ceramic surface is enhanced by black graphic details and abstract blue motifs, glazed in a way that creates colour spots, making each piece unique.
