Nino Galizzi (Bergamo, 12 marzo 1891 – Bergamo, 20 settembre 1975) è stato uno scultore italiano particolarmente noto per le sue opere che decorano palazzi pubblici nelle città di Milano, Bergamo e Roma.
Nato a Bergamo nel 1891, compie i primi studi alla scuola d'Arte applicata Andrea Fantoni e all'Accademia Carrara di Bergamo dove è allievo del pittore Ponziano Loverini per poi passare a Roma e Firenze.
Allo scoppio della prima guerra mondiale presta servizio militare per quasi sei anni combattendo su molto fronti Italiani, in Macedonia, Serbia e Grecia, guadagnandosi decorazioni al valore.
Al termine del periodo bellico Galizzi riprende lo studio e il lavoro e soggiorna a Roma e Parigi, Milano, Roma e Bergamo.
Partecipa a importanti esposizioni nazionali come la XXIV° Biennale di Venezia (1948), la Quadriennale di Roma, la Permanente di Milano e insegna plastica presso l'Accademia Carrara di Bergamo.
Muore a Bergamo il 20 settembre 1975.

Her hands are raised, her eyes half-closed, interpreting a musical passage.
Nino Galizzi (Bergamo, March 12, 1891 – Bergamo, September 20, 1975) was an Italian sculptor particularly known for his works decorating public buildings in the cities of Milan, Bergamo, and Rome.
Born in Bergamo in 1891, he completed his early studies at the Andrea Fantoni School of Applied Arts and at the Carrara Academy in Bergamo, where he studied under the painter Ponziano Loverini. He then moved on to Rome and Florence.
At the outbreak of the First World War, he served in the military for nearly six years, fighting on many Italian fronts, in Macedonia, Serbia, and Greece, earning decorations for valor.
At the end of the war, Galizzi resumed his studies and work, staying in Rome, Paris, Milan, Rome, and Bergamo.
He participated in important national exhibitions such as the 24th Venice Biennale (1948), the Rome Quadrennial, and the Permanente in Milan, and taught sculpture at the Accademia Carrara in Bergamo.
He died in Bergamo on September 20, 1975.

Né à Bergame en 1891, il fit ses premières études à l’École des arts appliqués Andrea Fantoni et à l’Académie Carrara de Bergame, où il fut l’élève du peintre Ponziano Loverini. Il s’installa ensuite à Rome et à Florence. Au début de la Première Guerre mondiale, il s'engagea dans l'armée pendant près de six ans, combattant sur de nombreux fronts italiens, en Macédoine, en Serbie et en Grèce, et recevant des décorations pour sa bravoure.
À la fin de la guerre, Galizzi reprit ses études et son travail, séjournant successivement à Rome, Paris, Milan et Bergame.
Il participa à d'importantes expositions nationales telles que la 24e Biennale de Venise (1948), la Quadriennale de Rome et la Permanente de Milan, et enseigna la sculpture à l'Accademia Carrara de Bergame.
Il mourut à Bergame le 20 septembre 1975.
