Elegante vaso in ceramica a lustro metallico, realizzato dalla celebre manifattura francese J. Massier Fils a Vallauris, protagonista della stagione Art Nouveau. L’opera presenta una silhouette slanciata con base leggermente espansa e collo alto terminante in un raffinato bordo ondulato, espressione di un gusto organico e dinamico.
La superficie è impreziosita da una straordinaria smaltatura iridescente dai riflessi dorati, bronzei e cangianti, ottenuta tramite complesse tecniche di cottura a lustro. Su questo fondo luminoso si sviluppa una decorazione a motivi floreali stilizzati, con fogliami e tralci sinuosi che avvolgono il corpo del vaso in un fluire continuo, evocando la natura idealizzata tipica del periodo.
Marchio al fondo “J. Massier Fils Vallauris”, a conferma dell’autenticità e della produzione tra la fine del XIX e l’inizio del XX secolo.

The piece features a slender silhouette with a slightly flared base and a tall neck ending in a refined wavy rim, reflecting an organic and dynamic aesthetic.
The surface is embellished with an extraordinary iridescent glaze featuring golden, bronze, and shimmering reflections, achieved through complex luster firing techniques. Against this luminous background unfolds a decoration of stylized floral motifs, with sinuous foliage and tendrils that envelop the body of the vase in a continuous flow, evoking the idealized nature typical of the period.
Marked on the base “J. Massier Fils Vallauris,” confirming its authenticity and production between the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
