Bronze equestrian sculpture
Mesures:

Description:
Bronze equestrian sculpture with a shaped green marble base, depicting a horseman probably inspired by a famous painting of Joachim Murat, King of Naples, in one of his uniforms.
The figures of the knight and horse are embellished with fire-gilded elements, as is the border framing the base and the flag of conquered territories placed on the ground beneath the horse. The sculpture has an oxidized silver finish that creates an elegant contrast with the gilding and denotes excellent craftsmanship in chiseling.
This antique bronze is in excellent condition, is of French origin, and dates back to the mid-19th century.
