The figure of Vittorio Amedeo Cignaroli has been the subject of several historical and artistic investigations in the last two decades, defining his human and artistic journey. The painter was born in Turin on April 15, 1730, to a family of Veronese origin, which has had important artists since the 17th century; his father, Scipione, a native of Milan, was a renowned landscape painter, active for the Savoy Court from the 1720s ...
