Wonderful and classic KIRMAN (KIERMAN) large-sized LARE with floral decorations and a traditional large central rhombus-shaped rosette with "flower islands" inside the crimson red field. The very tight hand-knotting, the extreme quality of the flowers and bunches woven with exquisite artistry, the vibrant plant colors, make the carpet's decoration almost three-dimensional. A striking optical effect made even more evident by the quality and thickness of the pure wool pile. The warp and weft are cotton, the fringes and the border are in good condition. A perfect carpet of approximately 70 years, among the most precious in the panorama of antique Persians.
