Lenci Manufactory, Jar With Galleon, circa 1940 with lid. Cylindrical in shape, this lidded vase is made of slip-cast ceramic with a decoration of a galleon in opaque polychrome enamel in natural sienna earth color. Painted on the back with a wavy cartouche bearing the inscription Good luck.
The lid has four minor chips on the edge and a superficial crack of about two centimeters, also near the edge. On the bottom, the italicized blue mark Lenci TORINO ITALIA.
