French conversation smoking chair from the second half of the 1800s, in Louis Philippe style, made of mahogany wood. It has a slender shape that widens upwards. The upper part is surmounted by an upholstered and fabric-covered crossbar, finished along the bottom edge with a row of decorative metal studs. In the center of the backrest, a refined openwork carved wooden panel stands out with sinuous scroll motifs that create a play of mirrored curves.
