The Fish: For Dalí, the fish was not just an animal but a perfect "biological structure." He admired its scales, which he compared to Byzantine mosaics or the "pixelated" nature of modern vision. In mystical terms, the fish often represents the soul or the miraculous, but in the artist's "nuclear mysticism" phase, it also became a metaphor for matter composed of constantly vibrating atoms.
