Beautiful fully restored safe, late 19th century combination lock, of French origin.
The safe has been restored and is in perfect working order.
The founding company is called "P. Haffner" located in Paris at Passage Jouffroy 7.
The company was not just a simple foundry but also a major manufacturer of high-quality safes and locking systems. Its greatest innovation was the circular-section key lock, and it received international recognition at world exhibitions of the time for its technical features in security devices (see acknowledgments on the brass plate).
In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, it was acquired by other major groups in the sector.
