Refined and unique "tempietto" clock, consisting of an ebonized wooden base, alabaster columns and partitions, a finely carved maple wood case, and lost-wax cast and gilded bronze applications. The latter include floral garlands with fruit, cornucopias and faces, bases and capitals of the columns, the pendulum, and two playing putti. The peculiarity of this clock also lies in the presence of a mirror on the front. The clock also features two keys, an Arabic numeral dial protected by an opening glass, and a functioning chime that strikes the hours, half-hours, repeats, and is also nocturnal. It is a clock of great taste and refinement, capable of adding a touch of class and antiquity to any environment. Viennese manufacture from the Empire period, around the early 19th century.
