Both historiated with mythological scenes:
"The Abduction of Europa": Zeus transformed into a white bull to seduce Europa, lets her ride on his back so he can kidnap her and take her to Crete. Three other women appear in the painted scene.
- "Sylvan Idyll": A faun, blowing his horn, tries to seduce a nymph accompanied by another female figure, while two cherubs, reclining at their feet, play with symbolic objects, including a mirror and amphorae.
This work, like all our other items, will be sold with a certificate of authenticity.
