Eliodoro Coccoli was born in Brescia on June 30, 1880, and died there on March 1, 1974.
From early childhood, he demonstrated a strong inclination for painting.
He attended the "Moretto" Art School, where, after graduating, he became a teacher.
From 1925 to 1955, he taught figure painting at the "Beato Angelico" School in Milan.
At a very young age, he became involved in national and international artistic life, participating in numerous competitions and winning prizes and various awards.
Eliodoro, gifted with great graphic talent, was a talented painter and often dedicated himself to creating frescoes and decorations for churches and important palaces.
He made numerous works in Italy (Lombardy, Piedmont, Liguria, Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Trentino-Alto Adige) and abroad, where he worked in Switzerland and Malta.
Presented here is a charcoal and pastel drawing with traces of white lead, on dusting cardboard, depicting an angel.
