The frame features a profile articulated on multiple moldings: the rabbet opens onto a central band carved with continuous vegetal motifs, with recurring leaves alternating with pearl elements. It then connects outward via a smooth scotia and an outer profile also carved. The gilding, applied over an preparation layer, has acquired a uniform brownish patina consistent with the age of the artwork. The decorative repertoire and the profile structure are indicative of 17th-century Lombard frame production. Condition report: Overall good condition.
