Carved and gilded wood frame. Tuscany, 19th century.  Translated
Description:
Carved and gilded wood frame. Tuscany, 19th century. Opening 70 x 124 cm - Rabbet 73 x 127 cm - Overall dimensions 96 x 149 cm. Entirely in carved and gilded wood. The frame is entirely pierced with volutes and acanthus leaves, following a decorative repertoire of Florentine Baroque tradition widely adopted by Tuscan workshops throughout the 19th century. The rabbet is defined by a thin carved molding with small leaves, which clearly separates the pierced profile from the opening. The gilding, uniform and well-preserved, gives the surface a warm and compact hue. Condition report: Good overall condition. All shipments within the EU are free and professionally packed.
