A '500 Venetian canvas depicting the faces of the Apostles Peter and Paul with Saint Charles Borromeo, with an intense, hieratic expression.
The three great Saints of the Church are portrayed slightly in profile, with their eyes turned upwards in a clear search for divine contact.
Despite the signs of age, which are however completely consolidated, the work possesses great stylistic elegance and transmits strong suggestions.
The three figures are executed with great skill in male portraiture, typical of the Venetian masters of the Renaissance, among whom the author of the canvas should certainly be placed.
The canvas is in excellent condition in relation to its age.
