Refined and unique secrétaire in finely carved solid mahogany. Characterized by a linear and elegant shape, with a grey marble top with white veining. The secrétaire also features unique and distinctive lost-wax cast and gilded bronze locks and keys, typical of Marseilles craftsmanship. The piece of furniture has a drawer under the top, and a drop-down door that opens to reveal several shelves and six small, ergonomic drawers for storing items. The drop-down door is also adorned with a leather lining with gilded engravings, which add further elegance and was used for writing. The lower part consists of two doors that open to reveal two shelves, the bottom one of which has a safe lock. This is a secrétaire of great taste and refinement, capable of adding a touch of class and antiquity to any environment. French manufacture from the Napoleon III period, around the mid-19th century.
