Canvas cm. 100 x 70
Frame cm. 116 x 86
The large canvas depicts the magnificent image of the Grand Canal with the Rialto Bridge and surrounding buildings.
A scene of great movement on the canal waters, set in a fascinating panorama, rich in lights and colors.
The description of this fantastic place, while having all the characteristics of late 19th-century painting, pays homage to the art of Francesco Guardi and his spectacular views, with the depiction of characters and boats in the typical style of the great Venetian master.
The large size of the painting enhances the effect of the splendid perspective that draws the viewer's eye to the famous Bridge, a symbol of the city.
The canvas is in perfect condition, complete with its original gilded frame.
