Large giltwood frame with genuine gold leaf, featuring low-relief decorations on the four corners typical of the early 19th-century Empire period.
The frame is well-suited for an antique painting due to its excellent depth. It is also very effective as a large mirror.
Condition: perfectly solid and the gilding is very well preserved. It requires minor aesthetic restoration... costing around 200 euros. It is possible to purchase it professionally restored by adding the estimated amount, upon contact, to arrange details and timeframe.
