Elegant Louis XV period armchair, attributable to Venetian production from the second half of the 18th century.
The structure is characterized by flowing and harmonious lines, with cabriole legs and sinuous armrests that connect fluidly to the backrest, in typical Rococo style.
Rich carved decoration in "rocaille" style, with motifs of volutes, cartouches, and a stylized shell at the center of the stretcher rail, accompanied by foliate elements reminiscent of acanthus.
The gilding, with a warm and slightly burnished tone, shows a patina consistent with the period, which enhances the sculpted details and adds depth to the surface.
Padded backrest and seat, upholstered in fabric.
