Pair of two-light gilded bronze appliques in Louis XV style  Translated
Description:
Measurements: 38 cm (height) x 30 cm (width) Materials: gilded bronze Refined pair of two-light wall appliques made of gilded bronze. The objects feature a finely chiseled structure, characterized by sinuous arms that branch off from a decorated central body. The formal characteristics show a rich ornamental repertoire typical of the Rococo style, with acanthus leaf motifs, volutes, and fluting that envelop the drip pans and the stems of the lights. The gilding imparts particular luster and depth to the plastic details of the casting. The style refers to French models from the Louis XV period, reinterpreting the elegance and organic asymmetry typical of French craftsmanship dedicated to prestigious interior lighting. The manufacturing is of French origin, evidenced by the quality of the design and casting technique. The work dates to the 20th century. The condition is excellent, with the original patina well preserved and minimal signs of age attesting to its authenticity.  Translated
