Four chairs in solid walnut of the "spool" type, attributable to 18th-century production, feature a solid structure with baluster-turned legs and shaped stretchers, expressions of refined period craftsmanship.
The high, slightly curved backrests lend elegance despite the sobriety of the lines, while the upholstered seats have been reupholstered at a later date with a damask fabric in warm tones. The patina is consistent with age and shows signs of wear that attest to its authenticity; the set is stable.
This is a homogeneous set, increasingly rare to find complete, ideal for classic interiors or antique collections.
