Four armchairs in carved walnut wood. Lombardy, mid-18th century. 23.6 x 21.7 x h 41 in each. A set of four carved walnut armchairs reminiscent of the Lombard "barocchetto" style of the mid-18th century. The structure features cabriole legs connected by shaped stretchers with double volutes, a seat with a sinuous profile, and volute-ended armrests. The back and seat are in Vienna straw; the upper cresting is carved with foliate motifs and a cartouche. The seat cushions, in green damask fabric, are later reupholstery. Condition report: Good general condition. The Vienna straw is intact.
