PTI777 - Poplar wood double door.
The structure features a classic bolection molding panel division: each leaf is vertically divided by four rectangular panels with molded frames, typical of artisanal production of the period.
The surface retains an original dark patina, with natural signs of age that attest to its authenticity: minor wear, slight abrasions, and color variations due to the aging of the wood and ancient finishes. The central holes indicate the original presence of the lock and hardware, which are no longer present.
The design is simple yet elegant, attributable to interior doors of noble residences or historic palaces from the 18th century. Poplar, a wood widely used in Italy during that period, makes the door relatively light yet stable and suitable for conservation restoration.
A decorative element of great historical fascination, ideal for scholarly restoration in period settings as well as a decorative piece in rustic, classic, or contemporary environments.
