Oil on canvas. Roman school from the late 17th - early 18th century. What at first glance appears to be a fruit still life actually depicts the arrangement of baskets full of different fruits on a market stall, behind which stands the merchant; behind the awning sheltering the stall, the city church can be glimpsed on the right. Previously restored and relined, the work currently shows other old paint losses and dirt stains.
