Interesting oil painting on canvas depicting the portrait of a noble young maiden, shown in a three-quarter pose with her left arm behind her back, holding a peculiar peacock feather necklace. The way she is dressed is also quite unusual, as she wears a boyish, double-breasted green blouse, enclosed by a prominent white lace collar that is tied. Central Italy - late 18th century, early 19th century. The canvas measures 35cm x 51cm; the simple wooden frame it is mounted on has a width of 6cm.
