Measurements: Back height 110 cm, seat height 48 cm, width 50 cm, depth 55 cm. Materials: solid walnut, patterned fabric, metal studs. Elegant set of six chairs made of solid walnut, characterized by the classic spool-turned workmanship (or interrupted turning) which affects the front legs and the 'H' connecting crossbars. The seats and high backs, with a shaped upper profile, are fully padded and covered in a patterned fabric with stylized geometric and floral motifs in shades of earth and gold. The finish is embellished with a perimeter edging in metal studs which gives rigor and aesthetic value to the structure. The design is inspired by the models of the 17th century cabinet-making tradition, reinterpreted with the constructive solidity typical of high quality 20th century production. Italian manufacture of excellent workmanship, ideal for representative environments or classic dining rooms. The object dates back to the first half of the 20th century. The state of conservation is excellent as regards the wooden structure; natural signs of wear on the fabric due to use are noted, but this does not compromise its overall charm.
