Interesting, perfectly preserved two handled jar from the Montelupo Fiorentino manufactory, datable to between 1540-60, a period in which the production executed this type of jar with handles modeled in the shape of a dragon and dense decoration of vegetal racemes in blue on a white background that framed the typical cartouche with mask, here left in white, therefore perhaps never used: a premise that would explain the exceptional state of conservation of the ancient artifact.
Jar height 30cm.
