Antique French painting from the late 18th century. Oil on canvas artwork depicting a seascape, a view of a harbor, with good pictorial quality. The painting is almost square in shape and adorned with a modern carved and gilded wooden frame. The painting has a pleasant perspective, enriched by the presence of figures, architecture, and sailing ships.
The artwork has undergone conservative restoration, relining, replacement of the stretcher, and retouching of small areas of color.
