Elegant Italian Art Deco desk from the 1940s, crafted in parchment with contrasting dark exotic hardwood profiles and black lacquered interior details.
The design features solid volumes and softly rounded corners, characteristic of refined Italian craftsmanship of the period. The contrast between the ivory parchment and the dark banding creates a strong yet balanced visual presence.
The desk includes seven drawers: one above the left cabinet door, one central drawer, and five drawers on the right side.
There is also a cabinet compartment behind the left door.
Subtle black lacquer accents enrich the interior of the drawers.
Handles and key escutcheons are in brass, adding a refined metallic touch.
Designed in the style of Osvaldo Borsani, reflecting architectural proportions and material sophistication typical of his era.
