Made in Genoa around the mid-18th century, it has a wooden structure, lacquered on the front in polychromy. It features two doors that conceal a lined compartment, divided by a shelf. The lower frieze has a curvilinear profile and the three legs, which continue from the uprights, taper towards the point of support, giving the ensemble a slender and graceful appearance. The decoration includes the top, with a semicircular front edge, lacquered to imitate Broccatello di Spagna marble. The front, on the other hand, features a lacquer in shades of blue, with a refined polychrome decoration in shades of pink, blue, and green, with floral and phytomorphic motifs. The keyhole surrounds, painted in trompe l'oeil, and the upper uprights are decorated with light blue rocaille paintings, and the profiles of the furniture elements are outlined by a light blue fillet. This corner cabinet, particularly pleasing for its dimensions, decorative style, and light coloration, can be easily placed in various settings, such as living rooms and studies, entrances and hallways, bedrooms and bathrooms.
