LAMP WITH BRONZE SCULPTURE OF THE GODDESS FORTUNA, SECOND HALF OF THE 19TH CENTURY  Translated
Description:
Refined and unique bronze sculpture, lathe-turned and created using the lost-wax casting method. The sculpture is of considerable size and depicts the Goddess Fortuna in a triumphal pose, carrying a cornucopia in her left hand, while in her right hand, raised upwards, she holds a torch, characterized by a Murano glass cup, with the housing for the insertion of a light bulb inside. The representation of details, such as the folds of the dress, and the care of the goddess's face and hair can be appreciated in the sculpture. Finally, the lamp has a working electrical system. It is a sculpture with a lamp of great taste and refinement, capable of giving a touch of class and elegance to any environment.
