Pair of candelabras  Translated
Description:
Rare pair of gilded and burnished bronze candelabras depicting two winged victories holding a five-light candelabrum, resting on plinths enriched by a chiseled sphere. The two candelabras come from an important Monegasque private collection and previously from a top-level Parisian antique gallery and subsequently, through acquisition during an antiques Biennial at the Lingotto in Turin (Federico Zeri present on the scientific committee), they passed through the Zabert Gallery in Turin, of which they retain the original paper sticker. Presented at the time with an attribution to the well-known bronzier Pierre-Philippe Thomire (1751-1843), in my opinion they should be attributed to the Manfredini manufactory, of which, below, some historical notes extrapolated from public utility sites. They measure 116 cm in total height and are in excellent condition, with the exception of the replacement of one of the two plugs to insert one of the two tips. They show the wear and tear of time and can undoubtedly be placed in the first quarter of the 19th century. Period: Early 19th century; Origin: Italy; Measurements: Height 120 cm; Diameter 30 cm; Condition: Excellent condition; Document: Certificate of authenticity; Assistance: We are at your disposal for further clarifications, information and images; Shipping: Available throughout Italy, Europe and the rest of the world. Low prices, maximum security and complete traceability. (To be agreed privately). We wish you a good day Antichità Goglia  Translated
