Pair of Four-Light Crystal and Bronze Wall Sconces, Early 1900s  Translated
Description:
Pair of Four-Light Crystal and Bronze Wall Sconces, Early 1900s. Antique Italian crystal and bronze wall lamps, four-armed sconces of Italian origin from the early 20th century in perfect condition, ready to hang. A wall plate, a Rocaille-style bronze casting supports a volute arm that holds the central stem made with crystal bulbs and bronze elements with foliate motifs; from this central element depart four protruding bronze arms, curved volute arms with foliate motifs ending in a double bronze and crystal bobèche and an E14 light bulb inserted inside a faux wood candle. These antique Italian sconces have a very important design that requires adequate space, projecting 34 centimeters from the wall. Each sconce uses four Edison 14 light bulbs, new wiring compliant with European standards, wired with 0.35 mm wire. These antique Italian living room sconces are hung on the wall with an L-shaped hook attached to a flat plate welded to the back of the plate. This pair of imposing 4-light wall lamps is an Italian manufacture from the early 1900s, dating back to the Art Deco period and comes from a private collection in Milan. Height: 57 cm. - Width: 55 cm. - Depth: 34 cm.  Translated
