Refined set of six Kutani porcelain cups with saucers, decorated in shades of red and gold. The cups have a round rim and a ring foot, almost entirely painted with plant and geometric motifs, and two historical scenes; including a Japanese coastal landscape and a scene depicting some people intent on writing. A detail that adds further refinement is the floral motif decoration on the bottom inside the cups. As for the saucers, they are also characterized by a ring foot, and an elegant decoration, with floral and geometric motifs, while in the center there is a scene with characters gathered under a tree. Slight defects are noted, and the mark with Japanese ideogram on the bottom of each piece. This is a service of great elegance and class, able to give a touch of refinement and oriental taste to any environment. Japanese manufacture from the late 19th century.
