South Tyrol, 1700s. Admirable and graceful 18th-century cabinet - cupboard, intact and in original patina, veneered in cherry and cherry burl, with a distinctive roller shutter door. Inlaid with maple, plum and other fruit woods. In a state of practical integrity, with a warm original honey/amber patina, with a shellac finish applied by pad using museum-standard techniques. A bright, practical and cheerful cabinet, ideal for inclusion in modern furnishings, even in a small apartment, to give it a "touch of class". Dimensions: height 90x46 depth width 77 cm.
