William IV sterling silver kettle on stand, Paul Storr for Storr & Mortimer, London, 1837,
Circular-shaped fluted body with rich decorations and finely engraved with floral motifs, resting on a stand adorned with acanthus leaf motifs on four feet. Complete with hallmarks, clear and legible impressed on the base, stand, burner, lid and handle.

Slight signs of wear and superficial scratches. The five hallmarks are present on the base of the kettle. Storr & Mortimer with the number 373 on the base of the kettle. On the handle the lion passant, the manufacturer's logo and the duty mark. On the base of the lid the lion passant and the date letter year. On the stand and burner the manufacturer's logo, lion passant, date letter year and duty mark.
