The jug, made of majolica painted in green and manganese monochrome, has a pear-shaped body with an expanded belly at the bottom and raised ribs; the lid is shaped and surmounted by a "crest" handle, the ribbon handle descends sinuously to the belly, the foot is slightly everted with a concave base. The basin has a body on a flat base, poly-lobed profiles shaped with sharp edges and a curved and raised rim, according to a shape evidently inspired by silverware models, in particular Genoese ones.
The surface shows a decoration in emerald green of great intensity, with a depiction of landscapes with adjacent houses, arches, towers and pointed roofs; the whole is inserted in metopes closed by a motif of bare branches, with some reserves occupied by flying lake birds.
Signature Jaques Bosellj in manganese brown.
