Elegant desk with a roll top opening and a large internal compartment with two small side drawers.
On the front, a large drawer under the top and two small drawers on the sides of the chair space.
The body is supported by four slender and thin legs with a slight movement, typical of the Venetian Louis XVI style towards the Directorate.
As was customary in the Venetian production of the late 1700s, it is entirely made of walnut and cherry wood, with splendid grains arranged masterfully in symmetrical patterns.
The furniture is decorated with elegant geometric inlays and neoclassical frets that further embellish it.
The desk is absolutely authentic from the 1700s in every part, including the Louis XVI style handles and the working locks.
The excellent condition allows us to present it in its current state without restoration, and to evaluate a possible polishing intervention upon customer request.
