LARGE SATSUMA VASE, JAPANESE, LATE 19TH CENTURY  Translated
Description:
Refined large Satsuma vase in polychrome painted porcelain. The vase has an ovoid shape, and is characterized by decorative paintings that run along the entire object, both figurative, geometric, and phytomorphic. On the two main sides, two warriors are depicted, with typical clothes and colorful headdresses. Also particular is the rendering of the quasi-handles, characterized by two eagle protomes, differently painted in shades of green on one side and white on the other, which contribute to giving great refinement. It is an object of great taste and class, able to decorate any environment with elegance. Japanese manufacture from the late 19th century. Measurements: H x DM 82 x 37cm  Translated
