Elegant terracotta sculpture, mounted on a rectangular red marble base. The sculpture, named "On the Threshing Floor" on the plaque, depicts a mother watching her son play with a turkey. The woman is depicted with her hair up and a long dress, while the semi-nude child reaches out with his arm towards the turkey. This is a sculpture whose stylistic and sculptural rendering is appreciable, capable of furnishing any environment with taste and class. The sculpture is attributed to Decimo Passani (1884-1952), a well-known Tuscan sculptor who was actively producing in Florence. Florentine manufacture (Florence, Italy) from the 1930s.
