Pair of Antique Gilded Shelves with 18th-Century Majolica, small shaped shelves in carved and gilded wood, made with a lid divided into two parts of an antique soup tureen produced by an 18th-century manufactory, hand-painted with polychrome floral decorations on a white background.
The majolica is framed by a half-moon structure in wood carved with plant motifs and gilded in pure gold leaf. The upper part, the shaped wooden top of the shelves, is lacquered in faux dark green marble.
This pair of antique shelves in carved and gilded wood with polychrome majolica from the 18th century were handmade in the 19th century and are in good condition.
