The so-called "carnation" decoration is arranged inside the basin, with the flower standing out on the long, sinuous stem; a narrow band with lattice segments and flowering twigs frames the central motif and marks the transition to the brim, which is decorated with two alternating floral compositions. Two fillets mark the edge of the composition of these two antique 18th-century maiolica plates, 20 cm in diameter. Faenza, third quarter of the 1700s, in good condition.
