Six-lobed raised dish with pierced railing, Savona manufacture, 18th century

Polychrome majolica decorated in cobalt blue with foliate volutes and a coat of arms. The lobed dish rests on a low foot and features a pierced and cordoned railing that is repeated in a central ring for holding objects. Comparative bibliography: C.
