Elegant and precious Bible, in two volumes of Old and New Testament, in German. The volumes have a red morocco cover, enriched with golden text and geometric engravings. Likewise, the exterior of the pages is also embellished with gilding. Inside there are prefaces from the Episcopal Office of Augsburg, which is dated 1867, while the biblical text is enriched by 230 illustrations and decorations (per book) made by the famous engraver Gustave Doré, which give further refinement.
